Please accept my humble obeisances and let me announce you that by the mercy of Guru Maharaja the Bulgarian Yatra was blessed with Giriraj Maharaj who came in Bulgaria in November 2002 after the Kartika in Vrindavana.

I would like to tell you also more about the preaching projects and events from the last year in Bulgaria. The yatra here is very young. Just for one and a half year we started regular Sunday programs.

It was a year with a lot of nectar of the visits of Sadhu Maharaja, Tirtha Maharaja and Vaisnava Maharaja. There were a lot of media events on the TV, on the radio and in the newspapers.

The visit of Sadhu Maharaj was announced in the most popular newspapers in Bulgaria with a big interview with him. But the top media event of his visit was in the most popular talk show on the TV channel of Rupert Murdock in the prime time at 9 pm. Most of the questions he was asked were about his king's life but also Sadhu Maharaj could give his mercy to all the Bulgarian people and to explain them more about the spiritual and divine love and the goal of the human life. Now he is very famous in Bulgaria and all the people know who is Sadhu Maharaj and are very impressed by his personality. The journalist of the talk show was so impressed by him that at one time he forgot all his questions and just asked Sadhu Maharaj: "Please, preach". A lot of journalists are very interested now in him and his preaching and this is a very nice opportunity for the mission here to preach through different medias.

The previous visit of Sadhu Maharaj was also shown on the Rupert Murdock's TV with an interview with him and a movie about his visit in the Rila monastery - the biggest Christian monastery on the Balkan peninsula where Sadhu Maharaj had one hour conversation with the monk responsible for the monastery. The Christian monk recognized Sadhu Maharaj as his spiritual brother and he said that different spiritual paths are as a pyramid on which top is God and the more people are going closer to the top on their spiritual paths the more they are closer to each other also.

Three public lectures were hold by Sadhu Maharaja and Tirtha Maharaja and many people came to see them. The secretor of the Indian embassy also was very happy to meet Sadhu Maharaja.

Also a course "The art of action" started. The idea of the course is to preach to the people about the ultimate goal of life. The discussed topics are from Bhagavad Gita but presented through the mundane problems of the officers in one company. If the course will be successful, next step is to accumulate the experience from it and to publish a book on business consultations based on the scriptures - how to act in our life and to learn to elevate our conscious to the transcendental position. We started also Vrinda club web site for spiritual trips, which will be completed soon and announced.

The next year will start with some more preaching projects as street theater on different topics, publishing the books of Srila Prabhupada "The ultimate goal of life" and Srila Sridhar Maharaja "Loving search for the lost servant" which are translated and edited into Bulgarian, also cooking course and English course on the scriptures.
